oh no, almost kena complain from customer part 1

Oh, this rabbit's pictures was taken at a pet shop near Dear's flat. Cute eh? Ok I shall continue with my story.

I was at home relaxing on a Monday evening after work, when a colleague from an outlet called.

In case you didn't knew, one could apply for a VIP membership online, but the discounts will only take effect in the outlets after 24 hrs, as the webshop database is scheduled only to sync at night to push the VIP data to the frontend.

Anyway, my colleague told me that this particular customer applied online, did not read the clause that was stated on the webpage and then in less than an hour, went down to their shop and tried to purchase something. Only to find out during payment that his name was not in their record.

When my colleague tried to reason with him, he whipped out a piece of printed paper, which is the online receipt issued after the purchase of the card. On it was this sentence:

Your card will be mailed to you within 2 weeks. During this period, you may enjoy discounts both online and at our stores.

I was like, Shit! How come I didn't see this coming? I was quite sure I checked through the whole process and even showed A&P for error checking, and no one spotted the ambiguity. Damnit.

The colleague was dumbfounded when she read the receipt and kept on apologising to the fuming dude, and after the customer left she called me to inform me of the matter, obviously not very happy that she had to bear the tongue lashings due to my carelessness.

But I was quite resentful to admit it was a mistake at all, reason being that as a customer, one should read the terms and conditions properly before even applying for a card! Obviously this fella chose to ignore the fine prints and only read the receipt, which in fact sounds reasonable if he had read the 'will take effect only after 24 hours' clause in the first place.

This kind of customer super boliao lor. Pissed sia.

Luckily we never heard of that customer making a complaint today. Phew! Was I relieved. My colleague only called to tell me that the customer did called to check whether his data has appeared in the POS or not. My head's gonna roll if my boss gets word of this.

And soon after this matter, another issue cropped up. Shall continue another day as I'm turning in already.

Good night!

Happy 1st year anniversary!

Two years ago, I met this little girl in my previous company. She first struck me as a petite, kind of dao girl with a lousy sense of fashion, donning those dresses where preggies wear. The first time we met was in our I.S office, she was sitting on my left, where Lee Tong once sat, and my ex-boss Richard was explaining to her about how our system works and other I.T stuff. She did not know that I was stealing glances at her. I was comparing her to her another female colleague. In term of looks, I think the colleague fares better.

Hehe.

First attempt at catching sea animals. 成功!

One day, by a stroke of luck, we had our first conversation. Was tasked to give her some username and password thingies for her email and Oracle account Thanks to my executive who knew about my tiko character that he arranged for me to meet her. At that point of time, I did not feel anything for her at all! Just platonic. =)

My lovely Angelic Princess

Look at how the Sea Monkeys have grown!

I thought a turtle and lobster were getting physical.

It's actually a crab lor.

Think it's a reptile egg sac.

I'm hungry

Subsequently, I start to see her more on the sales floor; during Private Sales, sometimes even when I am running errands at the mall, I can spot her hard at work. I tend to glance at her from a distance (I'll do so when I start to find someone of inclining interest to me). Sometimes when she smiles, a certain sense of warmth rushes up my head. 'She's kind of cute!' I thought to myself. Soon I was rather eager to go to Scotts just hoping to catch a glimpse of this pretty little thing. After my job there is done, I'll try to look for her at the sales floor and 'accidentally' bump into her.

Let's get some fish

Peng He, anyone?

Eh mai zhao!

Orh la korkor sayang

You better come back here you lil' %^*#%

Not forgetting the famous travellator!

Oops. Mama Stingray comes for revenge!

Fear not ... Roti Stingray, anyone?

We somewhat got into friendly terms with each other, got to know her better and I find that she's actually quite smart. I like smart women! And her outfits were not so bad after all, at least she's dressed differently everytime we meet. At a later phase, it posed a problem for me though. She always buying too many clothes. Hahaha.

Jellyfishes no need to wear anything also very pretty!

It's been a year since we first got together at Sentosa, so that's why we planned ourselves a day of fun there to reminisce the good ol' days. Like what others have said, the honeymoon period will be over soon, and all our true colours will show. Yeap, true enough, too many colours chut ka liao, and all of them mainly due to our stubborness. Anyway we still managed to forgive each other and until now, I still think that it is a honeymoon period! We are also changing to be a better person for each other. That's a good thing right?

Somehow this fish reminds me of myself.

Colossal!

I'd like to thank her for being understanding when I am grumpy, accepting me being fat when I cannot accept it myself, and also for the many small surprises that never fail to cheer me up. Although this post is very very late, I still wanna say..

Happy 1 year anniversary Kalene dear! Muaaack!

Break & Enter

Wtf, boss called me while I was on the way to work last Friday, asking me where were all the backup for each individuals kept. I told him it's in their D drive, and asked him if the Trojan virus is back. Well, seems like something more serious happened.

Yep, a break in occured last Thursday evening. Around 12 lappies were reported missing. When I reached office, everyone was stranded outside feeling helpless while the helpful policemen were doing their investigations. My lappie was gone too!

Damnit, it's the first of the month and I have many things to do, this type of thing also happen! Bo pian sia, have to help the others set up their lappies first before I get mine. I am penning this entry on my trusty E90. Seems like the new Fujitsus that came in were used to exchange with some managers' old lappies, and none were for me. 干泥拿. I don't want to get back another IBM with 512mb ram lor !!

Damn bad mood sia. But luckily, Dear was en route to Parkway Isetan today and she dropped by my office lobby to pass me some 爱心 tidbits! The receptionist also had a treat from Dear also. Indeed it was a sweet surprise. I was grinning widely all the way from the lift to my desk, to under my desk and back to my desk again.

=D

Famous Amoy, as dubbed by e receptionist.

Got 甜蜜蜜 note also leh! And it's Sweet Li'l Snack!

My fave UV no whip, which I downed within minutes!

Love ya Dear! You made my day!
